We are community-driven people and we want to do more than sell things. We want to help create more cultural events in the area as well as build connections between people in the city.

In 2016, we started selling handmade items on Etsy and then transitioned to selling in a few local shops.

We live in the neighborhood and work in the neighborhood. As non-native Chicago folks, we did not know the history of the neighborhood before moving here. The Bridgeport that we moved into was already one of the most racially diverse neighborhoods in Chicago. Learning the history of the neighborhood has movitated us to make the neighborhood what we think it can be! We love meeting people and being a part of the community.

Elena, a former hippie, is devoted to sustainable practices as a person and as a business owner. Reuse is one of our cornerstones.

Gerson, trained as a mechanic, has taught himself woodworking and basic electrical work. He built almost everything inside the store and refurbishes electronics.

This is our first brick and mortar store.
